I don't have to work but I have to

After 112 hrs of overtime per quarter we can’t be mandated to work weekends or 10s… but here I am, a good worker who’s training a bad worker who damages shit.

It’s a conundrum- don’t work and enjoy this gorgeous weekend, or work, ensure anything bad he does gets fixed and corrected and make some extra money.

:man_facepalming:t2: I wish other people cared about these planes as much as I.

I wish your employer did.

It’s yer duty to rat him out then - I would without a second thot

He’s still going through training and learning the job and how to do it. He’s been here for less than a month. There’s nothing to “rat out”.

You just sed he damaged stuff -

And I fixed it.

As long as you don’t hide it it’s fine. Aircraft can be repaired, modules can be replaced, hardware replaced etc. Nothing was intentional aside from lack of care and ignorance to the proper procedures and protection ( like foam tape against the structure incase a tool slips).

But word is he’s getting moved to Renton to work on the 737. LMAO

So it’s ok if ya let the smoke out?

Or download NOSMOKE.DLL

Smoke? What smoke?

Electronic stuff all works by smoke

you notice it never works if the smoke comes out

When I worked building mail machines I saw a lot of times the smoke got left out and then the stuff did not run correctly or at all

We’re not electricians so

You don’t got to be an electrician to pop a circuit board in and let the smoke out -

So you can’t fix it?

Nah, they send all that stuff over to Lenny at the Walmart TV Repair shop.
