I broke down and got a flat screen. It’s a 32". Couldn’t
find anything worth hauling home at the thrift store.
The fucker is lighter than my microwave! I could carry
it one handed.
I’m going to use the 19" to keep the cat happy when I’m at
work, and use the newbie when I’m home.
New problem: securing the damn thing so Fritz the Idiot
can’t kill it. I can’t wall mount it, so I have to track down
a stand that I can bolt it onto. Might have to rig something.

Why does the cats need tv - they sleep all day and most of the night
Duchess is very old (18+), can’t see really well,
and still misses her buddy Mutant who died 4 years
ago. So when it gets really quiet, she gets really
loud in distress. If the TV is on, she figures I’m
somewhere near, and just chills.
I have to keep Fritz in another room because he’s
an asshole.

I took in a stray once and it fought like hell with my old cat - I went to no end to separate them
one day I got fed up and put both in the bathroom and went for coffee
when I came back two hours later nothing had happened and then they were fine
they were just playing me
Before I went thru this hell I gave the stray away to someone I thot very reliable - but it got away on her and I became possessed (and I mean possessed - I musta drove a 1000 miles) with finding him - weeks and weeks - finally I found him but he had a hurt leg that the vet said would never be right - two days later he was jumping off a ten foot deck.
them I kept him and they got along

First thing I had to do was turn down the brightness.
I can’t believe that in “power saver” mode it was that bright!
It took me 2 tries to get my DVD player hooked up so that
I got a proper picture. But now I’m baptizing it with
“Doctor Strange.”
Ok, wow. The astral trip, was a TRIP! This is going to be fun.
And I figured out a fix for a safe stand for it.
I’ll pick up what I need tomorrow.

I tried that with them. It didn’t work. Some cats just
can’t be bothered to share. But we manage most of
the time.

We still don’t have a TV, we were looking at them the other day though at Wally World… $300 for a nice 50" smart TV 4k.
You have put a credit card in the slot at the top in those cheap ones - 25 cents fer an hour
