Try finding a mouse that works for a partially crippled hand.
Anything that makes my hand relatively flat, I end up holding the right mouse key since I can’t lift my by 3 smaller fingers when my hand is flat.

Dorsal tendon and muscle laceration with resulted in dorsal reconstruction back in 2014 or so.
Grip and extension is fine in most areas, but some areas that require acute manipulation or you’re extending the tendons way out I have difficulty with. Pushups are done at a staggered position due to my wrist refusing to go to a 90°.
I type with my left hand and hunt and peck with my right.
Typically that’s about as bad as It gets, but it’s generally why I prefer my phone.

I switch multiple times a day - use either hand and took a while to learn as I am not ambidextrous
use either mouse free software to switch easy

Nope.
That’s no big deal, eyes can do that with both hands.
