When a US senator seeking to investigate one of these detention facilities is refused access and flunky ass cops are called to confront him, BUT the Senate does not exercise its constitutional authority by immediately calling an emergency session and fiscally shutting down the entire exercise, your republic has turned a corner that may be irreversible.
